She also helps with cross-cultural issues, stress, burnout, and general well-being. Jess speaks both Spanish and English.
Jess uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with elements of psychodynamic approaches and overall humanistic or existential perspectives to help foster clients’ growth while understanding their motivations and conflicts. CBT and DBT are both types of talk therapy—CBT helps people understand how thoughts affect emotions and behaviors, while DBT is especially helpful for those who experience intense emotions.
